Not so long ago, asprin was the main drug used to treat arthritis. Now we have drugs that
not only help with the pain but also help to protect the joints from the damage caused by the disease process.
As each individuals medication needs are different, this section does not aim to provide
information on specific drugs. What you will find here is information on the families of drugs used to treat arthritis. For
specific information on particular drugs that you may be currently taking or about to start taking, please talk to your
Rheumatologist or G.P.
